Since 2013, this day has unified more than 180 countries, hundreds of animal welfare organizations and people who hold animals near and dear to their hearts. It creates awareness of homeless pets and adoption. Remember Me Thursday also gives food and funds to nominated organizations all in the name of animal compassion.
