The public honors the contributions of working women and employers who support working women and their families, and celebrates National Business Women’s Week® (NBWW) during the third week of October.
National Business Women’s Week® provides an opportunity to call attention to women entrepreneurs, facilitate discussions on the needs of working women, share information about successful workplace policies, and raise awareness of the resources available for working women in their communities. It is also a good time to have a conversation with younger women about future career plans and educational choices that can set them up for success.

Use National Business Women's Week as an opportunity to showcase women-run businesses in the area. Create a Who's Who of local retailers, office workers and other companies to help commemorate the accomplishments of females in the work sector.
