Personal electronics are an important part of people's lives. Batteries are generally used to power all the devices relied upon daily. A battery is used to change chemical energy into electricity by bringing the different chemicals together in a certain order. When correctly ordered the electrons will travel from one chemical to another creating an electrical current. To help safeguard the planet, it is important to recycle batteries whenever possible, which is at the core of National Battery Day.
