Greenpeace Founded: Anniversary

On September 15, 1971 the environmental organization Greenpeace was founded. It has since been committed to a green and peaceful world. It was originally founded by 12 members of the Don't Make a Wave Committee of Vancouver, BC, Canada to protest US nuclear testing. Now Greenpeace draws attention to various environmental issues around the world.
